You can find cheap wedding gowns or an alternative wedding dress almost anywhere. I would start out by using the Internet for ideas. Still, it sure will be tempting to purchase one online once you see some of those prices. A couple good places to start your search is one eBay.com and craigslist. Purchase A Modest Gown

Another option for buying a gown is to look at a modest wedding dress. This is something you need to be very cautious of. Many shops claim they sell modest gowns, but they don't come with modest prices. In most cases a modest gown is very gorgeous it is just not over the top. That can be a really good things. Modest wedding gowns shouldn't cost you much more then $300. Anything over the $300 range is probably more then just modest. You might want to consider adding to a modest gown with some of your own alternations.

Design Your Own Affordable Dress

A professional dressmaker might be able to make you your own dress for cheap. All you need to do is come up with a look that you like. The best way to do this is to show your dressmaker pictures of some dresses that you like. In many cases you can get a much fancier dress made this way for cheaper then what you would if you bought something already made.
