Vintage Feed
My horse has loose green stool?
I noticed yesterday when we were on a trail ride. I haven’t changed anything. ALTHOUGH my mother in law sometimes gives my horse her horse feed. I use vintage gold pellets and she uses sweet feed. Other than that nothing has changed with him for 3 months.
He is always in pasture but like alot of you said the grass is coming in greener now and he is eating more of it. I know this happens with my cattle, I wasn’t sure about my horse though.

Gee Charles your right it can’t just turn green, MAYBE the neighbor boy gave him tons of lime jello. Next time if you don’t have a helpful answers don’t answer at all.
Ahh spring is in the air. This can be a combination of things in this wonderful time of year. Our horses have spring fever, the grass is fresh and rich and their energy levels are high. Put all this together and a loose green stool one in a while is normal. As he gets more adapted to the grass and the activity, it will get better. If this keeps up, then cut his hay or grass and they will tighten up again.
