What is the best way to display very large amounts of tabular data on a web page?
I need to display very large amounts of tabular data on a web page and don’t want to compromise appearance or speed of loading the page. The data will have approximately 6 columns and up to 500 rows and I want it displayed nice and neat as if you were viewing in in an Excel file. I’m concerned that the page will load slow if I just put it in an HTML table.
I agree with Joe. A table is the only sensible choice, and the page will still load pretty fast. Boy, this is going to be a fun page to look at eh? Sound like something that will get people very lost or very bored.
