Where can I find a good place to buy upholstery fabric?

I am looking for somewhere that has lots of choice and colours and that supplies ribbed chenille for upholstery as I am making my own sofa.

Osborne and Little have a good selection of chenilles. However, if this is above your price range, check out John Lewis – they have a surprisingly good selection.

Oh, and if you’re using chenille on a sofa, it might be better to look at a contract grade fabric – ie 40,000+ rubs, as it can wear down quite quickly.
