How can I dye white lace black?

I can’t find black lace in any fabric stores, so i had to settle for white lace in hopes that i could dye it black. Any suggestions?
I mean is there any specific kind of dye? is there a way I could do it with common household items?

Dyeing something black and getting a good black is one of the most difficult things to do. How it works will depend on the fiber content of the lace — nylon dyes easily, polyester with great difficulty; rayon and cotton are easy.
