Handkerchief or tissue – which one would you prefer?

Handkerchief is greener, doesn’t require cutting off trees.. Just it requires daily washing.. However sneezing into it often will make it a germ haven and people around you may feel irritated.. A tissue on the other hand needs cutting off trees.. And an allergic or sweating person would need loads of it.. So, which one do you feel is better?

handkerchiefs are superior in every way. you do NOT sneeze into a balled up handkerchief. you fold your handkerchief in half exactly 3 times, this leaves you with a long rectangle about 2″x4″. if you want, you can fold it one more time so that it’s 2″x2″ but it’s bulkier. when you go to use it, you open it up until it’s only folded once. that gives you a huge area to use. you can start in the middle and work outward, so that you never use the same surface twice. once you’ve used all that surface, you are done with it and now use the inside surface that you get when you fold the handkerchief in half two times. it’s a brand new, uncontaminated surface. fold it back to it’s square or rectangular size and put it away. since it’s generally made of cotton, it will actually dry out if used sparingly. if heavily used, then it’s time to get a fresh one out. i always carry spares.

you don’t wash a single handkerchief over and over, day after day…. you buy 2 or 3 dozen, so that you have 24 or 36 clean handkerchiefs available for use. you can get them for less than $5 a pack. once you’ve bought a pack of handkerchiefs, they last for for years and years and years. and you don’t do a load of laundry for handkerchiefs. you simply add them to your whites. if that sounds icky to you, you do realize that your panties and sometimes even your pants have urine and feces in them and you seem to be all right with that. detergent, bleach and hot water is all you need to clean them. 20 – 30 of them will not make a significant difference in your laundry load. their impact is less than 1 t-shirt.

handkerchiefs are super gentle on your nose. they won’t rub your skin raw in and around your nose. the comfort factor is immense. if you’ve never used them, then you have no idea of the difference. tissues are basically wood fiber, so you’re rubbing a tree trunk on your nose and you get that bulbous red, raw, ugly honker.

tissues, on the other hand, are filthy little snot bombs. people are disgusting, leaving their used ones around on areas that others use. they feel like they have to save them and use them up, so that’s what they do… even setting them down on places that others obviously use. and, i’ve even seen some women stick them inside their bras. snot never dries out in a tissue, so tissues are big wet germ bombs that pigs carry balled up in their grubby little fingers and leave everywhere for others to come into contact with.

but if you want to use tissues instead… i’m good with that, since i’m a tree farmer and we make money off dumb@sses like you.
