Dish Towels

My roommate keeps using the dish towel to wipe his mouth even when he’s in front of me. What do I do?

We’re both adults and renters in a house. It’s a bit embarrassing to tell him not to use the dish towel (which we use to wipe the table and counter) to wipe his mouth. We were chatting once and as he was finishing cleaning up his dishes, he reached for the towel and wiped his mouth on it. I was surprised but didn’t know what to say. Another time, similar situation, he did it again. How does one graciously stop this? He isn’t a kid any more.

~~Just tell him to is more sanitary to you to use napkins or paper towels for personal hygiene, since the towel is used for drying dishes, counters, etc. Tell him you hate the though of germs spreading with cold and flu season coming up.~~
