Cotton Tablecloth
What is this fabric called?
I’m looking for a heavyweight cotton appropriate for napkins, tablecloth, placemats, even kitchen towels, maybe with stripes or a nubby texture. This is not a lightweight printed fabric like quilt fabric. I’ve gone to my favorite fabric web sites and searched for cotton, tablecloth, napkin, towel, toweling, and even gabardine, but didn’t find what I was looking for. What is this kind of fabric called?

I wouldn’t purchase either corduroy or terrycloth for cloth napkins, thanks anyhow. I’m looking for washable heavyweight COTTON, not linen or dry clean only polyester home decor upholstery fabric. I’m trying to find the appropriate key phrase to find the fabric on a web site before I search through B&M stores.
Twill and heavyweight cotton are too general to help, although they are the right idea. I’ve already searched for tablecloth on my fabric web sites, but didn’t find what I had in mind.

Woven cotton in wide widths – this fabric for tablecloths is usually near the back of the store. There should be checks and plain weaves.
